EMILY WINK was born and raised in Kissimmee, Florida where she started dancing at the age of five. Emily grew a love for performing at a young age through training and performing with her local dance studio. She started in the dance competition circuit at the age of eight and continued that rigorous journey till graduating high school. Emily studied under Dr. Kathryn Austin and Nealya Brunson at the Osceola County School of the Arts from 2014 to 2021 where she trained in Ballet, Modern, Composition and Improvisation. During her high school years she traveled nationally with Artists Simply Human Dance Convention where she participated in their Company program and was a Faculty Assistant for world-renowned choreographers/ teachers. Emily is now a Professional Assistant with ASH and trains under choreographers such as Sabrina Phillip, Alan Bersten, Hannah Gossett, Lisette Bustamante, Rasta Thomas and Maud Arnold, giving her the opportunity to gain more experience and networking within the dance industry. Currently, Emily is a student at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee where she will graduate with a BFA in Contemporary Dance Performance in the Spring of 2025. At the Conservatory, she trains daily in Ballet and Modern, while also taking elective classes such as Hip Hop, Heels, Musical Theater, Jazz and Improvisation from both the Contemporary and Commercial program. During her time at the Conservatory, Emily has had the pleasure of performing works by Aszure Barton, Jennifer Archibald, Murray Louis, Lar Lubovitch, Norbert de la Cruz, Kurt Douglas, Gianni DiMarco & Adriana Suarez, Joe González and the opportunity to be a Rehearsal Director for Doug Varone’s, “Constant Shift of Pulse”. While being a full-time student in the Contemporary program, Emily has also participated in performances with the Commercial program such as performing for two years in a row at the KCON LA festival in Los Angeles, California. After performing on the Crypto.com Arena stage and at the LA Convention Center, she knew she wanted to continue with a versatile career. In 2024, Emily started traveling with Artists Simply Human as a Professional Assistant where she works with the company to build a mentorship program with younger dancers. After graduation, Emily plans to travel and perform in the professional dance industry while carrying a light of positivity and perseverance throughout her journey.
